Cielo Vista Church defines missions to be any evangelistic endeavor outside our local congregation to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, making disciples and gathering these disciples into local congregations.  This is primarily accomplished through church planting and training foreign nationals to do the work of the Gospel.

The goal of our missions effort is to win individuals to the Lord, equip them in the faith and establish churches that have the same aim in every tribe, tongue, people and nation (Acts 14:21-23; Rev. 5:9).

What can I do?

Every Christian is called to be involved in Missions (Matt 28: 18-20; Acts 1:8).  Some are called to be a Missionary as their life’s calling.  Some are called to support mission work by going on short-term missions trips.  This may be you.  Others are called to support missions through financial support.  All are called to pray.  Please pray for those serving in Missions, both domestic and foreign.  Pray for those who will go on short term missions in the coming years.

Missions Trips –

In 2009, Cielo Vista Church sent people on short term missions to Arizona, Grenada and Indonesia.  The eternal impact of the lives of those who were served cannot be measured in this life.  The lives of those who went were impacted greatly. 

In 2010, Cielo Vista Church will sponsor several Missions Trip, both domestic and foreign.  Check out the information on the 2010 Missions Trips.
