Arizona June 12-19, 2010 San Carlos Apache Reservation American Indian Mission Trip This trip will include a partnership with First Nations Ministries and building relationships with youth and their families through discipleship groups, Bible Studies, and Sunday School classes.  We will have the opportunity to meet physical needs as well by providing groceries and participating in home repair projects.  This trip is designed for high school students. Kenya July 11-24, 2010 Missionary Jerry Daniels has served in Kenya for 36 years planting more than 50 churches.  Jerry partners with national pastors including Kenyans Frances and Lucy Mwaniki to promote a new concept in  missions called Regional Ministry Centers. Regional Ministry Centers include a church, orphanage, feeding centers, substance and addiction abuse counseling, AIDS, STD and FGM counseling, and a Bible Institute. All the work done through these centers is done in the name of Christ and is used as a means to get the gospel to as many people as possible. This trip will incude activities in Nanyuki (just west of Mt. Kenya). Located there is a base of operations for Missionary Jerry Daniels’ ministry.  From the base we will focus on efforts in a Youth Camp located approximately 25 miles northwest of Nanyuki.  Attendees must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of this trip. Total cost is approximately $3,500.00        Deadline for ($400.00) down payment is February 28, 2010        Financial assistance available to CVC members. Costa Rica August 20- September 1, 2010 Costa Rica is a country in Central America.  It is bordered by Panama to the south-southeast, Nicaragua to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south. It is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the east.  The national religion is Roman Catholic with approximately 71% of the population practicing this religion. This trip will include vigorous hikes, several days of physical labor, sharng Christ with the local population and time to see the splendor of God’s creation in this beautiful semi-tropical country.  We will attend several churches planted by missionary John Barnes in various portions of Costa Rica.  Attendees must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of this trip. Total cost is approximately $1,600.00        Deadline for ($200.00) down payment is January 31, 2010        Financial assistance  available to CVC members.
